These terms govern the relationship between Rubixcodes and its clients. By engaging our services you agree to these terms. They are designed to be clear and fair, protecting both parties.
Rubixcodes provides digital agency services including web design, web development, search engine optimisation (SEO), AI search optimisation (GEO), branding, graphic design, social media management, and website redesign. The scope of each engagement is defined in a written proposal or quotation provided before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, our standard payment terms are 50% upfront before work begins and 50% on delivery. Larger projects may be split into milestone payments. Retainer services are invoiced monthly in advance. All prices are in GBP unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur additional fees and result in suspension of services.
Each project includes a defined number of revisions (typically two to three rounds), specified in the proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges at our standard hourly rate. Revision requests should be consolidated and submitted within agreed timelines.
Project timelines are estimated based on scope and content availability. We commit to delivering on time provided the client supplies content, approvals, and feedback within the agreed periods. Delays caused by the client may extend the project timeline accordingly.
Upon full payment, the client owns the final deliverables — website code, branding assets, and content created specifically for them. Rubixcodes retains the right to use the work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.
Rubixcodes can recommend and assist with hosting setup, but hosting accounts are typically owned and paid for by the client directly. The client is responsible for maintaining valid hosting and domain registration. Unless on a managed maintenance retainer, ongoing hosting performance and uptime are the client's responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rubixcodes' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, lost profits, or business interruption.
The client agrees to provide accurate information, timely feedback, content, brand assets, login credentials (where required), and approvals as needed for the project to progress. The client is responsible for ensuring they have rights to all content provided to us.
Either party may terminate a project or retainer with written notice. If a project is terminated by the client before completion, payment is due for work completed up to the termination date. Retainer agreements have a 3-month minimum term, after which they may be cancelled with one month's written notice.
